SYMC Girls' Night Out Join the conversation!
Laugh - Think - Share - Find Peace - Connect
What:
SYMC began a tradition of "Girls Night Out" in the Spring of 2004. Our goal was to give our staff, volunteers, and members a night to just relax and focus on something that would nourish their own spirits in the midst of all the hard work that they do.
We laugh, we think, we find a little peace, and a little community. We've talked about Winnie the Pooh and we've conversed with toes, we've laughed at the misadventures of John Grisham's Skipping Christmas, and we've considered whether tuna casserole or jambalaya is better comfort food.
Topics are chosen by the group members and discussion goes from there. All the female members of SYMC are welcome to attend (this means if you are reading this and you're female, we'd love to have you)!
When:
The 1st Monday of each month. Check this thread at the Village Gathering for specific dates and topics. We meet via a teleclass bridge - all participants dial into the same number where we are all together in the same conversation.
The time is 8:00 ET, 7:00 CT, 6:00 MT, and 5:00 PT. For those in other parts of the world who are interested in participating - email Joanna (see below) for information on time zone comparison.
How: Join any time. It's free to join. If you haven't attended before, email Joanna at to register and include your name (first name only is fine). We'll send you the information for calling in. |
