What: 

Following in the footsteps of the Girls' Night Out, SYMC men have began a tradition of "Guys Night Out" in early 2007.  Our goal is to give our staff, volunteers, and members a night to just relax and focus on something that would nourish their own spirits.

 

Like the women, we laugh, we think, we find a little peace, and a little community.  While we do talk about serious subjects during the first part of the teleconference, we save the second half for stuff like the subtle nuances of wall spackle, autotmobiles and of course the seemingly mandatory male subject of.........the weather.     

 

Topics are chosen by the group members, and members volunteer to present the things that they're interested in.  All the male members of SYMC are welcome to attend (this means if you are reading this and you're male, we would love to have you).

 

When: 

We usually pick a Wednesday each month. Check this thread at the Village Gathering for specific dates and topics. We meet via a teleclass bridge line where all participants dial into the same number where we can converse together. The time is 9:00 ET, 8:00 CT, 7:00 MT, and 6:00 PT. 

 

How:
